A RESOUNDING SUCCESS in ELGIN

Pavement owners and managers congregated for the "Asphalt Goes Green" Preservation Workshop, the 9th annual preservation workshop sponsored by Gee Asphalt. Training was geared towards concepts, processes, equipment and products available for conducting successful preservation strategies.

Speakers from The National Center for Pavement Preservation, The University of Nevada at Reno, Sherwin Williams, City of Austin TX, Zimmer Consultants and Logan Contractor Supply were well received. Detailed information about preservation benefits, cost savings, products, equipment and processes best suited for developing a pavement preservation strategy were covered in detail.

A huge thanks goes out to all who carved out time from their busy schedules and made the trip to Elgin. Our appreciation to all the speakers, the National Center for pavement Preservation, Western SuperPave Center, Sherwin Williams, Logan and ASI for their cooperation and assistance. A special thanks to Dave Stoltenberg from CRBT for giving his time and talent to help us!.
